Very nice Bill.
What else do you need to do before you start mapping again?
oooooff nice indeed.
fuel system plumbed in, and I need to extend some of my injector wiring - its ready to go..
got to wire up and programme the XDash for the fuel level also.. else it will be embarressing if i run out.
Hi bud, get stuck in..... 6 weeks
How's the race car re-build going now Bill? Are we going to see the flying banana for the first race at Combe on the 13th?
too busy on customer cars to finish mine..
That's a shame mate, I was going to ask when I noticed you weren't on the entry list. I'm over for that meeting is there any chance you'll get a late entry or is it a no go?
I had an entry as I do for all the races (re-entered in Jan) but withdrew last week as its not likely I will complete it in time, and I wont race until I have done a test or two at least. Lots of reserves and over-subscribed c'ship. I will be there on monday spectating and seeing my friends/fellow racers. See the competition - lol
yep, Bill is a busy boy, inlcuding mine
Probably partly to blame as well mine has been in the Badger's set on more than one occasion! Much appreciated Bill, If I see you around the paddock I'll buy you a pint.
what you having done jamie
k03s hybrid treatment, fitted and mapped (binned the gt2x, as I dont like it)
should be nice from what ive seen of the GX*** thought you were going big turbo ??
is it there now
bills a busy man lol
no, things have changed, just need a stable fast car, with quick spool and fairly OEM. GT2X is laggy, poor quailty and I just dont like it
some do on here, but its not for me
so Bill is supplying the hybrid, fitting and mapping with a K04 TIP as well I believe due to the enlargened inlet
new fuel system running well I think. no leaks. yay..
it fired up and reminds me how scarey it sounds just blipping the throttle.. yowzer..
dyno booked again for 24th so hopefully we can get it beyond its previous lowly 1.3bar boost.
fueling is now 3 pumps. S3 intank which feeds into a 3ltr swirl pot, otu of which twin bosch 044 suck, and combine to a -8 line feeding up to the 1st fuel rail, loops into the 2nd, then to the aeromotive adjustable fpr, then returns to swirl pot in -6 line, then overflow returns to main tank.
the fuel flow sounds like a hose pipe going for it... lol such a rush of fuel goign through there its staggering. Thankfully the line sizes and aeromotive fpr seems to cope a piece of case with the flow rate and the gauge pressure on the fuel line is 3bar as set.
rock and roll..
Some serious plumbing going on there Bill!
Congrats at getting it up and running anyway, about time!
Sounding good bill, hopefully you'll get some serious power on the dyno then, although with the packed grids it should make for start line fun. And then pray for some traction too. Are you gonna run a few maps one with less power for any wet days?
good luck for the 24th will be some machine when its all mapped and 'finished'.
good luck with the fuel bills!
Not questioning the uberbillmeister, BUT, aren't they supposed to be in parallel?
