Battery and Engine Covers

There's no F in Quality..
Was browsing Audi-Sport.net earlier, and spotted a nice mod that would suit the Exeo....

Battery and Engine covers, to tidy the engine bay up a little.

Here's the thread on ASN providing the details:

http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/showthread.php?t=68758

Part Numbers required (probably Audi only) are:

1) 8E281944701C (main scuttle area cover) £12.22 + vat
2) 8E2819422A01C (small cover that attaches to above one, to cover battery) £4.99 +vat
3) 8E0103927D01C (RS4 cover, that covers the right hand side of the engine bay) £12 + vat)
4) 8H0103928 (cover that goes behind the airbox to cover the pipework) £11.23 + vat

Total's about £40 ;)

These are on my shopping list for TPS on Saturday, so I'll post up some pics at the weekend hopefully ;)

Hello Andy,
I saw these the other day, I did ask one of the guys, I was on the B7 section, and I didnt get to finding out the part numbers.

I will give Audi a call, see if the prices are roughly the same & how long for delivery

Well done!

There's no F in Quality..
Prices from Derby Audi:

1) 8E281944701C £11.53 + VAT
2) 8E2819422A01C £4.72 + VAT
3) 8E0103927D01C £12.05 + VAT
4) 8H0103928 £12.05 + VAT

So total (inc vat) = £46.40

Just waiting for a reply from the guy on ASN....

Well done Andyj, you have been very busy!! Good idea that, about A4 parts fitting Exeo's. I am trying to find out from Milltek if their cat back system for an A4 avant 170 Cr will fit our motors. Have not had alot of luck yet :(

Hi All

I have already fitted the battery cover on mine. I am only short of the ECU cover (top left of engine bay as viewed from the front). It looks abit of a fiddly job to change ths cover over, as the screws at the back of the lid are below the wiper stub!!

What has been done so far looks good thou.

Bit of a problem with photo's. Car covered up & stored as I'm unable to drive at the moment due to surgery.

As soon as is possible I will post some.

:funk:

Think all I need now is a 8H0103928 to finish it off. Not shore if the cover is a direct replacment or not? Any one know?

Also thinking of changing the wheels as with P6000's tyres fitted which have no rim protection, the rims are very scuffed (not by me!!) fancy black ones.

Think I may also consider having it Revo'd aswell later.

Hi All

Can ant one confirm that the ECU cover I require to finish this mod off is a direct replacment for the one coming off.

Pt No 8H0103928 I was given is for A7 Cabrio.

Regards

You can see the section to be filled in on the second photo on post 15 of this thread.

The part is only orderable from Germany (which takes 6vdays) & is none returnable & have to pay up front.

So you can see why I need to know it will fit.
