Just for interest.. and showing what we can do.. when asked to:

R32 engined mk2, going to race in vag trophy.
16" wheels, wante dbiggest brakes possible

We have managed to engineer one off setup which squeazes in 330x28 rotors inside the customers 16" wheel on VR6 front hubs

    mighty tight to achieve this.

This was a bespoke kit to fit under 16" wheels.. on mk2 gofl running mk3 VR6 suspension

Are you asking for the same kit? or 330x28 brakes?

    significant difference in prices

Thanks for your reply. My line of though, which might be wrong, was that this kit with proper carriers would fit a Ibiza 6L with 16" wheels (Pro Race 1.2).

Is this possible? How much would it cost?

    Thanks

    unlikely I'm afraid
as I said this was bespoke
wheels on the mk2 R32 engined golf were 8x16 et20 I think from memory

    VR6 hubs, wishbones etc

Hum, I see, that’s some major wheel clearance and much different from my quite usual 7" ET35 set up.

    Thanks for your help,
    João

yep, it sure is and 330mm disks under 16" wheels is very tricky to achieve believe me! took me hours to work out and design brackets and bell offsets to achieve it

7" is'nt a big rim at the end of the day

and wheel design itself is key to brake clearance..
eg: my 8x17 ET28 CXR Compomotives have more brake and caliper clearance than my new 9x17 ET23 Pro-Race 1.2 rims

330mm disks under these and 360's could fit I think with some work if needs be.
