Hi I'm looking at getting a dump valve for the car but I'm unsure which one to get and wondered if anyone could give me advice based on experiance. I'm not lookin to spend a fortune though maybe up to £75 or something. :)

for £75 (or less), the best Diverter Valve (?) you are going to find is probably this:

The revision D OEM unit. That said, as yours is located round the back of the bay, will this fit Dan?

Im sure i read this wont fit the k03, but They have discontinued the last rubber diaphram revision.

The Piston one above one is £50.52 excluding any discount.

It's £48 inc vat from audi. It's the one that warren cox posted. It will fit the K03. I have just fitted one because my old diverter with the diaphragm broke twice

okay basically you want the "SPACER" excuse the caps...anyways you can pick one up from Forge around 50.

The revision D OEM unit. Im using this exact D on my TFSI now not had a problem but yea if you want a woosh noise all you need is a spacer.

Nope - the spacer just allows a bit of the boost to escape making the woosh and recirculates the rest.

VAG turbos require a fully recirculating system, so technically you'd be doing the engine better to keep it fully recirculating

So if I need to keep it fully recirculating which would be the best option? Thankyou

Just the revised VW/AUDI divertr (D) with the piston design. You won't get a different noise or feel any difference it's just a stronger unit which can handle more boost. The Forge Spacer is the only thing that'll give you the noise.

Difference between the two DV's (Rev D on the LEFT):

The orange diaphragm in here gets split over time:

Here is a pic of the Rev.D head on:

I'm running stage 2+ with Rev.D and no probs at all.

I'm not sure how successfully the Forge split ring runs. Is it hard to set up?[IMG]

Yeah it is loud I get some funny looks when I hit the gas then let off and hit it again to get that chatter noise. Other than that you just get a whoosh and a growl as it sucks in the air. So just pottering about you wouldn't know it was there.
