Hello,

I've been sitting in the back ground untill now and reading. This is my first post, take it easy on me :)

As the title says I'm after coilover kit or shock spring combo and arb combination that works the best for a daily driven car but also good on track. Probably 6 track days a year if not more.
My list is very confusing at the moment as I don't know if a shock spring combo would be better than coilovers.
List of suspensions I was thinking of : bilstein b12, B14, yellowspeed coilovers, spax rsx, koni sport.
I would appreciate some input and advice.
Budget would be 1k with arb and some bushes to make it nice and tidy :)
Advice is highly appreciated and welcome.
Regards Aleks

What kind of drop were you looking for?

Hi Damian,

I want a good set up for road and track... Not bothered if its going to be only 40mm drop.
What would you suggest for fast road and track car?

The Bilstein kit is more handling orientated so better for the track but fairly stiff for everyday road use where as I find the ST kit a little more comfortable.

Thank you for your feedback Damian.
What would the B14 be price wise?

Hi Damian,

Are these B14 different for diesel or petrol ibiza 6l.
I have a diesel pd 130 fr with stance plus at the moment, that is the way I bought it and its harsh and I don't like it.
Would like to go for the B14 kit. What is the lead time for the kit if I order in the morning?
Cheers Aleks

@damian

Could you please let me know if these B14 are getting stiffer if I lower the car more and more.
I'm curious what would be the best setup in regards to handing?
I don't want to go max on them but would like to have a smaller gab in the arch.
Highly appreciate your input.

Yes generally the lower you go the stiffer the ride will get as you're reducing the travel but it will be down to exactly how low you go.

Damian @ DPM Performance
Thank you Damian, you wouldn't know where the optimal ride height for the B14 would be from factory as in the best compromise?

I'll be honest I wouldn't as a lot will be down to personal preference. May be a trial and error type of thing to get it handling the best for you.
