do the tt brakes fit inside the 16 inch fr wheel or do they need a 17 inch for clearance?

Just fitted mine today. Yes they do fit under the fr wheels. Some pics and threads on here so have a search

yep and they fit the steel spare,

If you go to big boy 4-pots then you will need to change the wheels ( although its bloody worth it i can tell ya)

And bloody expensive aswell as you'll need to fork out at least £600+ for a new set o wheels and rubber, but like you said well worth it.
