Has anyone fitted a Blackvue dash cam in their Leon? I’m getting one and any advice/photos showing the best place to fit it would be welcome. I’m just looking for the best place to locate the camera.

Mines in front of the rear view mirror, out of sight for me when in the drivers seat :)

I'm going to be fitting a BlackVue 900S but doesn't it get dirty on the windscreen? The wipers don't wipe that bit of the screen and don't want a massive dirty bit in the video. Do you guys just keep wiping the middle with a cloth?

I don't have black Vue cam but I was able to locate a small dashcam in front of the rear view mirror so it's discreet and does not encroach onto drivers field of view.

Exactly where mine is too. Just behind the Rear View Mirror and base attached in the Black hatched area.

Cheers. Just a quick question, do you bother removing expensive dash cams or radars overnight?

My Blackvue stays in the car all the time. It has parking mode enabled which allows it to record if anyone passes the camera or the car is impacted.

I never remove my cam which is why i wanted it small & discrete. Fit and forget is best for me or else I'll end up forgetting to reinstall it after I've taken it out :)
