Thanks Dave, I'm sure in 6 months it'll look completely different again...
Oh believe me Lawrie I'd love to, but having been driving all of about 3 months I reckon the insurance companies would just laugh at me. I do plan to lower it, 50mm Spax springs like ScottH has would be awesome, but I'm going to wait until I've got a years NCB (hopefully April 2011).
In other news I've bought red hammerite for the front calipers and black hammerite for the rear drums.
Good call! I look forwards to it!
Thanks Stephen! Unfortunately due to being in my first year of driving I have to keep the mods subtle.i like the subtle mods like chrome air vents.
any more plans?
Thanks mate. I was like you, had a car (for a while!) and hadn't passed my test. Mods had already began before I passed.looks great mate, havent passes my test yet but have lots of plans going to put a cupra exhaust on it next year with my 1st year NCB - havent even passed my test yet keep the updates going though mate looks great!
Cheers buddy! I bought a used Leon Cupra handbrake from the scrappies, then when I got home I took it apart. The chrome button actually just clips off (needs a good tug though). The chrome button just clips off the old one too (use of a flat blade required), just push the new one on and bob's your mother's brother.Looking good, dude! Where'd you get the chrome handbrake button?
I'm going to refurb the alloys myself.looks great, were did you get the 'S' wingmirror logos? Also were do you get your alloys referbed & painted and how easy is it to paint your calipers with the stickers??

Handbrake cost £15, Dave.
The buttons are interchangeable, so I'm now going to attempt to sell on the remainder of the handbrake, complete now with a black button. Hopingly somebody will buy it!
