Thanks for the comments guys.

The car's centre console is in bits now, have given the painter the centre console plastics and the side mouldings to paint today, will be giving him the door handles tomorrow.

At some point the wheels will be refurbed and painted in a darker colour, I won't be changing them though.

Can't wait to see the console when its done buddy :) sounds very interesting

Can't wait to see the wheels too, I love a good refurb with a darker colour, really look the business when done

The insurance company would actually rape me if I lowered it...
The joys of being just 18 and 6 months into driving I guess.
Your old car really did sit well, Mazz. Definitely provides me with some ideas. :)

Liking the centre console panel thingy. Brightens things up. How easy is it to remove? Tempted to do it myself

Also did you get the FR grills from the seat dealer or is there somewhere cheaper? :p

Will also admit that the red steering wheel is growing on me ;)

Thanks Andy. I wouldn't be without that steering wheel anymore.
To remove the centre console you need to pull the radio and cubby hole out, then I think there's 2 or 4 screws to undo, unplugging the heated rear window and hazard switch as you go. The bottom part of the centre console just unclips, you can just pull it off.

FR grilles can be bought from Dave at SERE Motors through this forum. Prices and part numbers (as of October) are as follows:

LOWER CENTRE GRILLE 6L0853667C01C £16.16
LEFT FOG GRILLE 6L0853665N01C £5.46
RIGHT FOG GRILLE 6L0853666N01C £5.46
LEFT UPPER GRILLE 6L0853677A01C £7.85
RIGHT UPPER GRILLE 6L0853676A01C £7.85
Parcelforce £10.

Total £52.78.

Cheers mate. Hope to get this done soon. Well in the christmas holidays in a few weeks. Not sure wether to paint or vinyl it. Looks like it might be a bit tricky to vinyl it especially round the hazard light button where it indents!

Thanks for the part numbers to have written them down. But short on funds at the moment but will hopefully get them eventually :)

No problem mate.

I know what you mean about being short on funds, not much has happened on this car in the last few weeks.

Managed to get myself a bit of cash though so filled it with V-Power for the first time yesterday. It definitely makes the car run better but I can't justify the cost to use it all the time.

I've got myself a pair of twin reflector headlamps which I need to fit a HID kit to, haven't got the money for the HID kit just yet but hopefully will in the next few weeks.

Strips, handles (as well as my 2 centre console bits) cost £90 to be sprayed.

And I removed handles, refitted them, removed strips, refitted those too... Kinda feel like I did the hard work!

Was informed by my dad having been following him earlier tonight that my nearside LED sidelight has stopped working... grrr not happy they're only a couple of months old!
