Today on my way home from work I found my phone (Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini) was not connected to my car Bluetooth, so I pulled over and reconnected it all was well until later I had to stop for fuel and again the phone did not connect, so I repeated the the above and it seems that now after I stop my phone doesn't automaticly connect upon restarting the car.... so I tried a few of my old phones and they seem to connect and reconnect fine.... so I think the problem is with my phon, but im just wondering if others have the problem...

Have you updated the firmware on your phone or added or updated any apps?
Mine had issues when I updated a couple of apps, rolled them back to the old version, all working ok again
Think it was some Google music player app that caused the problem

Rolling back apps is too much of a FAFF.... If its the Google music app I'm not gonna be able to do that as its a default ap on the phone

Since some time around Christmas I have been having issues with my Samsung S4 Bluetooth randomly disconnecting and reconnecting with the Exeo as I drive.
I was putting it down to either the latest Android update or a possible issue with the cars RNS-E media system. As I am now awaiting delivery of a Leon I thought I would wait to see if there were similar problems before doing anything else.
Just read the response from dw911 this morning and rolled back the updates on a few of the Google Play apps (the app is still on the phone but now not up to date) and I believe it may have cured the problem. On my short journey to work this morning it was OK.
Fingers crossed it will stay this way now as it was annoying me.
Thanks for posting this simple fix.

Strangely the problem didn't occur on the way to getting the car serviced, but this afternoon the phone over heated and locked up so I had to take the battery out and let it cool....

So think the phone is faulty ish

It maybe a faulty phone
Thinking back when I had the issue, the Google music player would start in the background every time the phone connected to the car and overoad the normal music player I use to stream music from my phone and flattened the battery so fast the phone got hot

Took thirty seconds to roll back the Google app and a couple of others
I now update the apps manually as and when
