Well hello there. Its been ages since I appeared on here and not sure how many of the old lot are still active here.
Anywho the Cordoba Cupra has been gone now for over 2 years, and I played around with a couple of VW's, but since about a year I have turned to BMW.
Sold my E30 325 and bought myself a E39 528i ex 98. Absolutely great car with a whole rack of luxury.
I'll post a good list of spec with pics shortly.
But the real reason i'm posting atm is that I am in search of a bit of advice, and seeing as I can't find a proper BMW forum with active members, and the level of knowledge was always extremely high here; I thought i'd give it a go.
The BMW is showing sighns of slush in the motor head, evident from the pics below (enlarge if needed).
So first I thought the head gasket was leaking, however I'm not losing any coolant whatsoever.
So I thought the oil might have been too old, so added engine flush to the old oil, then drained it and changed filter. Looked like it hadn't been done in a while.
However next day, the yellow slush was straight back under the oil filling cap and edged of the head.
Was hoping someone could point me in the right direction?
cheers
