Bonnet bra for mk4

i've been considering the one on the autobra site myself, i've seen a lot around my area on other VAG cars like lupos, golfs, TTs, and even a little Arosa!

i am in two minds as to getting one though, they're pricey for what they are and not really too big in the street scene and there aren't many euro style meets round my area...

what you think?
it would be going on a silver 1.2 sx ibiza btw

if you like it and you want to buy it then buy it...dont worry about what other people think!! at the end of the day there will always be one person out there who doesnt like them and another who does...cant please everyone in this day and age unfortuntly

i personally quite like them and would love to get one for my cupra, would only use it for shows etc. there are a few cars around my way that have them on...seen a saxo, and a couple of fiestas including an st

to be very honest it looks crap!!! simples. surely water would sit underneath it and rust the bonnet ...? i once had sill protectors and the water sat under them and made it rust...

My bonnet seems fine. No scratches, fading, nothing. Surely it would depend where you park you car? My drive outside my house is covered most of the time by nearby houses and when out and about I always try to park in the shade, not because of the bra, more the fact that I take care of the car and wish to prolong it's life.

As for water, never really had a problem. If it was causing a problem I would be taking it off.

The only time it comes off is when I wash the car, re polish and seal the paint. Give the bra an inspection inside and out before fitting it back on.

I hate these things, I would rather have stone chips.

Think the only thing that would look worse would be an actual bra... in pink or something.
