bonnet lifter guide

hi all i just bought a bonnet lifter kit from a mate hes on here called asquith_4 just pm him for kits and all your led needs including full car led kits,hids everything


this is my install guide

what you need: 2 ball joints with washers, 2 nuts ,3 large washers and of course the strut

tools: glue, small screwdriver, appropriate spanner/ double depth socket

1st glue your nut to the large washer x2


2nd attach the ball joints to the car at this position


3rd the second ball joint
for this put a screw driver through the middle of your glued nut/washer then manouver the washer side to side till it is behind the slot. with your free hand hold the washer whilst removing the screw driver.(this is wy we glue them so the nut doesnt fall inside the car)
then screw in the ball joint with washer and the spare large wash .like so


4th connect the fat end of the strut to the lower ball joint


5th remove the bonnet holder then move till the top a lines with the top ball joint and engage.


then carry out a test to make sure it all works . i had to bend the lower ball joint so it tilted back a bit .
