bonnet lifter handle rattle.....

......if that makes sense!!! [i don't know the technical term ] i think this is what's rattling in my car as the noise is coming from a central location and when i go to lift the bonnet the little handle popping through the grill is quite loose in that it has quite a bit of movement from side to side, i've done a search and can't seem to find much on it, but has anyone else had the same problem and if so any ideas on fixing it as driving with no music is a nightmare with that thing tapping away! cheers

Mine has quite a lot of movement left/right, I agree with Dodson, possibly the grille?

yeah, that's the little devil! tbh it might not be then, but it's the only thing i can think of and find that's like lose or has a lot of movement and when i move it about in my fingers [ ] it does make the rattling noise i "think" i can hear, a little re - think then!
