Boost gauge on mk1 leon cupra

Hey everyone I've set up a boost gauge on my car but couldn't find a good place to put the hose so it come in at the door but after a while it stopped working due to the door crushing the hose anyone know a better place to run it ?

there is a grommet with existing wiring running through bulk head, open bonnet, look top left of engine bay, you can run the pipe and wiring through there, its a little fiddly but not too bad with the form wire to feed with.
