Boost hesitation

Hoping someone can please give me some pointers on how to remedy my problem.
Im getting a strong hesitation at around 3.5k rpm upwards. It feels like air leak but ive gone through the engine and the only split hose was the oil breather pipe which ive replaced.
I have a dodgy temp sensor, does'nt always read engine temp. But the hesitation happens whether temp is read correct or not.
Car is 100% standard, so no aftermarket parts to be causing any problems.
Thankyou in advance.

Have booked it into my local seat dealer for wednesday morning for the manufacturer recall.
So hopefully they will either find or resolve the issue while its there.

Are the boost hoses on a cupra common to collapse under boost?. Now that ive had things checked and changed the only other explanation j can think of at the moment is that the turbo is choking either before of after the turbo.
Cant find any more air leaks so hopefully should rule that out.
Although my turbo does whine when spooling up loudenough to hear from within the car.

After reading through loads of threads ive finally found just one where people say they have seen possitive results.
They have either cleaned or replaced the inlet manifold sensor.
Will give this a try tommorow and see if it really does help.
Has anyone else done this? And if so, did it help?

Ive had it plugged in and it had error p1927 and error undefined brake problem.
Cleared them off after replacing the brake switch. But not had it back on since.
Not had it on vag com yet. Dont know anyone local with one.

What did the dealers say when you took it in? Id take it to a local tuner and get it dyno'd and logged to see exactly what its doing. You could also buy a cheapo code reader off ebay for the meantime

Dealers said it was fine and refuse to accept any blame(it didnt judder like it does now before i took it to them)
Iim gonna get vag com(cheapy one). Problem is that without knowing what im looking for on this engine as a comparison i still wouldnt know what im suppose to be looking for.

I have now checked and cleaned spark plugs, had injectors checked(all fine). Maf works, air pressure sensor cleaned and working. Replaced brake switch(had undefined brake error) and cleared fault P1927 on a garage scanner.
Got no boost leaks as far as i can find. Turbo spools up fine.
Still got same problem but getting worse.
Anyone got any ideas to try next please.

Temp gauge works indash intermittantly. But according to diagnostic reader its reading the correct temp to the ecu.

Steadily drops. Usually if in stationary traffic the needle will creep back up again.
But never goes above half way.

Thermostats screwed by the sound of it. Id get that sorted first as it could be causing issues with the engine temp dropping.
If youve still issues after that id get it smoke tested for air leaks.

Got a new temp sensor so will fit that when car is cooled down.
Had it on code reader today as mil light came on.
Error p1297 on again.
Error pressure drop between turbo and inlet hose
Error on coolant temp.

After fitting the sensor the car failing to read any temp at all.
Gonna put old one back on and see if its same still.
Got almost no water pressure in the expansion tank so am thinking maybe the pump is the cause.
