custom tune for Ramair Intake 3" decat
Hey guys, got a boosting issue and need some ideas on what to do next, basically since I've owned the car i never noticed this issue probably because i didn't have a boost gauge and wasn't running enough boost to feel this issue. Let me start by saying that i installed a boost gauge before my remap Thursday just gone and i noticed that my boost at standard would peak at 12psi than bounce like a maniac between 5psi and 10psi so i just wanted to clear up the obvious people who are going to say blame the mapper. so anyway had the car remapped all well and good pulling much stronger peaking at 20psi but only problem is im still having this fluctuation problem but it is more noticeable now. ill start in 3rd gear at around 2.5k revs hit the pedal to the floor boost will build to 20psi the start bouncing between 20-15 psi it will stay bouncing between 20-15 psi untill around 4k revs then it will steady out at around 16 psi then slowly fall off as i pass 5k revs... mapper told my to change DV because the old g revision diaphragm splits got the old dv off no splits put new rev D on anyway to be sure no difference mapper instructed me to next check actuator and actuator nuts... just wondering if anyone has any other ideas or has experienced this heard its quite common on ko3
