Boot wont open

Hello all. I have a couple of issues with my 2011 Exeo saloon.

1st one is that the boot does not open. I've tried climbing in through the back seats to manually open it but I've not had any success.

Also I keep on getting warning lights come up regarding rear brake lights, fog lights and reversing light not working when they actually are working.

Maybe the 2 issues are linked but I'm not sure.

Anybody got any ideas or know how to manually open the boot?
Any help appreciated.

Could be a CCM flood, remove the plastic trim around the passenger door, the glovebox and passenger seat, lift the carpet and check the CCM for water ingress

Thanks for replying. Had a garage look at it and it was due to a broken wire on the left side of boot lid near the hinge. All working now.
