Boots jammed shut

Ok, during the really cold weather we had my boot decided to give up!
Unlock it with key, remote or inside button and nothing happens, no unlocking noises or anythin!
Any ideas on the likely cause or soloution?
Had a wee search but no joy!

Have you tried putting the key into the slot under the 'S' badge in boot and turning it 90 degrees. This changes the remote central locking from including the boot or not including the boot when locking/unlocking

Chances are the solenoid for the boot lock has gone, mine went a few weeks ago & it's a bitch to gain access to it if the boot is locked, i just about managed to pull the trim back enough to pop the rod off the solenoid & then my key worked in the boot lock.

Might just employ a small polish or slovak boy to get into it!

This has happened to me ,,,,,,,,,, nothing,,,,,,, i tried everything then all of a sudden pop its working again and has been fine ever since

solenois has gone
to the right top of the s badge bang the boot (not so hard that you dent it!) whilst operating
the unlock function on the key it somethines works sometimes doesn't
