Today started off dry with no wind, so i thought about fitting the TIP. I managed to get the old one off within 15 minutes. The forge one was a bit more difficult to get back on in the end, but i managed it :) Here are a few pictures [B)] All mods now done ready for my stage 1 remap ;)

Well done mate, I told you it was easy ;)

Cheers mate, it was quite easy tbh, hardest bit was getting it right onto the turbo, its not right up to the turbo, but plenty enough to get a jubilee clip on it to hold it tight :) may have another go another day to get it right up to the turbo, only half a cm roughly away if you get me. Atleast ive saved you a job for the weekend ;) lol

Well when i fitted the tip, i wasnt quite happy with how it was sitting on the turbo, i sorted that out the other day and its fully on there now :)

Today i recieved my 80mm black silicone joiner through from forge, i wanted to replace the blue silicone joiner on the dynatwist as the blue stood out too much. I got the new one to match the tip and also when i get the rest of the silicone pipes ;)

Cheers mate, I'm hoping to get it remapped within the next month or so, I'll either be getting a revo or AmD map

Well i did another log today and the highest G i saw was 180.97g's so thats just over 2g's more since the last log with a max of a 178g's. The extra 2g's could have come from the dynatwist and TIP i have fitted since. I am not slating AmD's rollers, but i believe the 249bhp i got on there rollers was just luck as i was first in the roller room and the temp was 0c. Looking at the log, i roughly have 235bhp on the road which i am happy about :) The log was done through 3rd and 4th gears. So the tip and dynatwist have given me an extra 3bhp by the looks of things :)

brad, the tip wont have gained you any g/s mate, dynatwist will have got them for you, the maf reads the g/s before the tip, but the tip will flow those g/s better to the turbo

Little bit of bad news, but nothing major, atm! I was driving home from work last night and gave it a tiny bit of stick, the temperature gauge decided to go up to the 105c 3/4 mark pretty quickly, i thought thats strange, so eased off and cruised with low revs and it dropped back down to 90c, then i gave it 5 mins of cruisng with low revs, gave it a little blip in 4th and same happened again, so since its only been driven very sensible keeping revs low. I believe this is the waterpump and its going in on thursday at AmD to have a cambelt and metal pump done :)
