I need to renew by front left caliper pins, and if they are a reasonable price, may well do all the other brakes as well.

Looks like the rear are the same so ill check my local ford dealers, well i say local, think they are miles away!

Yes spotted that!

Ill see if i can get hold of the ford ones for the front.

How about the rears? Is it worth changing them for preventative maintenance, seems so if i can get them similar price to the front. Again any rear pin suppliers?

Ive got them ordered, thought id get a set of four to make sure all the brakes are ok.

On order, cost about £12 each, came to 48 for four sets.

the GSF listed kit is just rubber gaiter covers/grease (well was last time i had some in)

always thought the rears were the same as mine looked it side to side - but i have been told they were shorter on another car

a quick call to matey philly Ford shows them listed for front and rear on their system so sounds pot luck a bit but as long as they are not too long to stop full reqd movement (check without pads in) you'll be fine

as for preventative measures if they are free moving clean and grease em you'll be fine anyway

Think I may need new pins for the rear.... the car's been sitting there for about 6 months now, thank god I get discount in Ford, joy of being a Ford employee :)
