Brake Calliper cover?

Good evening all.

I’ve recently sold my Cupra and the aesthetically pleasing red break callipers are near the top of the list of what I most miss. I now have a GTD and was wondering if it’s possible to get Cupra break callipers onto my GTD? Or even better is there a magic fix where I can make my break callipers stand out without having to pay to get them sprayed or painted?

You’ll have to forgive me as I’m an absolute car rookie when it comes like this.

eBay sells calliper paint tin and brush or spray if you prefer £6.99 for a tin and a brush kit I bought the same recently

Was it relatively easy? Did you find any issues when painting/spraying? Do you actually have to take the calliper off the car? As I said, although this forum has helped me a LOT I’m still and absolute newb :)

Don’t worry I’m a newb too!

I haven’t actually done mine yet as not had time but from what I’ve read on here you can leave the callipers in situ- masking tape and bin bag the discs/car up to avoid accidents. Im sure there’s a YouTube video on this out there too and I’ll have a look before attempting it myself.

Are you painting or spraying? I’m almost too scared in case I mess something up

Paint - don’t trust myself to spray! Providing You cover everything adequately I’m sure you’ll be fine with a brush

Only time will tell. When are you doing yours? Hoping it’s before me so I can learn from any mistakes :bleh: :)
