Brake servo?

Hi, my first post here & hoping for some advice.

My Ibiza diesel has suddenly acquired HEAVY braking. I thought it was the vacuum pump, and fitted a replacement that I had in the garage, but no good.

There's a vacuum at the pump but no servo effect; can anybody point me to a supplier for a new servo? what should I expect to pay? and if I have it fitted how much should I pay?

what about just going to a scrappers? i bet you can get one there pretty cheap
