Hopefully in the future I will be back in a SEAT but for the past 11 years my MK2 FR(9 years) and MK3 Cupra 280(2 years) have been fun!

Main reason for selling the 280 is that I have another child on the way in July :) so wanted to get an estate whilst paying off the remaining loan on the 280 to free up some cash.

So, what did I go for?

A 2005 Subaru Legacy Twinscroll freshly imported from Japan! Quite a big change! Do I miss the Cupra? Yes! however im absolutely loving the Subaru and its got enough power to keep me happy! it really doesnt feel or drive like a 14 year old car. Fortunately cars in Japan must be maintained regularly to pass bi-yearly government inspections which you can tell by the condition of it!

270bhp 2.0 litre petrol turbo automatic
Full leather seats
Heated seats
Heated windscreen( i thought this was a ford only patent?!)
Electric mirrors
4wd
Plus all the usual bits
57,000 miles on the clock

I cannot believe how immaculate the car is inside and outside for the age. What also really helps is in Japan they do not throw salt on their roads in winter etc so the underside looks about 3 years old and no rust anywhere! I will be getting it undersealed before our winter kicks in.

Anyway, thanks for all the help over the years and I will probably be back in a Cupra Ateca in the years to come, some pics below of the new beast.
