Hi chaps,

Just about to complete the purchase of some mk3 golf 16v caliper carriers so can upgrade the front disks to 280 on my 8v Gti.

Just before i go through with it just making sure they wil fit and the swap is nice and easy to do.

I thought golf gti's ran 288mm discs, but maybe the earlier ones came with 280mm discs, you just need to confirm the car your getting them from had 280mm discs on it.

Really, ah bugger...actually...would they fit anyway.

I know 288 maybe a bit OTT on an 8v but i am planning for the future.
