Cam Belt Change When???

Just had my cupra into the garage for a service done 34 k and they said they thought they could hear a noise from my timing belt and suggested I change it any opinions? Thought it a bit early but would rather fix it now than end up with it snapping cheers.

Is your car still in warranty - if so, I wouldn't bother! As it states to change after 4yr or 60k (I think)! So it shouldnt be failing in 3 years with that mileage!?

Cheers for that mate thats what I thought.

Car now out of warranty.

Took it to an independent guy who said the problem was my dodgy aircon which was making a slight noise at start up
