Hi everyone, please can i introduce myself - i am Lee and living in Spain. I have a Peugeot 206 but i am seriously considering exchanging for a Seat Cordoba and i thought what better place to come than here! I am hoping for some advice about a Cordoba 1.9 tdi yr 2003. The car has fsh, x2 ownners and has done 85,000 mls. Please can anyone advise me on any common faults, things to look for, positives etc. Thanks in advance for any info

You may have a better response on the Ibiza Mk4 forum as they are basically the same car.
If the engine is the 130bhp one, it should be quick.
Getting one with 86k on it is rare, especially 2003 model!
Check for rust on the front wheel arches.
Also check for any signs the suspension is tired (knocks, bangs, wallowy steering). The front wishbone rear bushes are not great quality but can be upgraded. Front ARB may also need replacing if it moves from side to side.
Apart from that they are good, reliable cars.
