Car cutting out

Hi
I have a 2003 mk1 Cupra R
About once a month the car just cuts out
No EML warning light or fault codes
I turn engine off and car restarts straight away as if nothing has happened.
I have spoken to my local garage and he thinks something electrical
Does anyone know what my problem is
I thinking it my be imoboliser?
