Carbon Dynamic Airbox - BMC Airfilter

Hi guys.. need you help.. I want one of the above (a Carbon Dynamic Airbox - BMC Airfilter) .. they are around 180quid.. but there is someone selling one for around 45quid.. only problem is.. its for a 1.6 MG.. not i can buy a reducer hose.. as the indcution hose for a MG is only 69.5mm and slap that onto the end to make it to 89mm that will fit onto my induction hose..

will this work???

Any help will be soooo appreachiated...!!!

I have Leon Mk1 Cupra R.. remapped to around 250bhp..

Will it not allow the right amount of air into indcution hose??

If you've got an LCR then DONT touch it, Get yourself a high flow panel filter and mod your airbox and feed pipe

Personally I would'nt buy one.
I'v heard of a lot of cars be "Held Back" by these, and they are a lot of money.
Get a high flow panel and mod the OE airbox, you will get as good results and it will cost a quarter of the price, and if you want a bit more noise drill a few holes in the bottom of the box
