I've found the ambient light settings to be very buggy. Can't remeber the exact wording, but there are some options like 'enable ambient settings in the info screen' unituitively this needs to be disabled! Same with a similar setting for drive mode. I'll double check when I go on my lunch break.

My issue is I've been able to enable a 9th and 10th colour option (green and purple) respectively, but when I pick one of those colours the infotainment and digital dash change to green for example, but the doors stay then same as the last standard colour that was picked. On the flip side it allows you to have different colours for the info screen and the doors which is quite cool.

I’ve been talking with Carista for a while about this and have sent screenshots and photos of my screen in the car. They’re working on getting the colours working but they said it’s tricky.

Fingers crossed they get it working soon as it would be cool to have green or purple and other colours.

I was a bit confused by that as well, once you're signed up and have installed the beta version, you still have to 'buy' pro as an in-app purchase, just make sure the payment screen says 'test card'.

Well i gave it a day and the test card part came up, but said 33.99/30mins. did a couple of things mainly soundknator down then cancelled the subscription within the 30mins, watch this space.

Edit, or if you read the email properly it tells you that you will not be charged, so lots of things to look through at the weekend at work

Does anyone have a screen shot to the app before you change anything just so I can set it back to pre messed about with settings and see if that helps.

Is there anyone(person or specialist)near Harrogate (N York’s) that can set things up for me using a Carissa type thing. I really am useless with this sort of stuff. Would ideally like to give the car to someone and ask them to do a list of things ie setting up some of the Carista features, fitting auto lights and wipers etc

How do you get the beta version?

I emailed [email protected] saying make/ model and year of your car and that i want to beta test the app, then they reply and ask you to supply debug data and how to.

Updated to these setting this morning and it worked a treat, I wasn't even aware that I had a colour slider, just thought it was white and red in the doors, Happy Friday to me, easily pleased by simple things me.

Im due to collect a 2014 Leon SE Tech pack next week, and have seen the carista app and reading about its features.
can all leons have folding mirrors and needle sweep activated if they havent got it as standard.
what would people recommend as must have activations?

As far as I am aware (correct me if I'm wrong) I think only the FR, Xcellence and Cupra have the folding mirrors. You should be able to activate the needle sweep no problem though.

Has anyone managed to get the additional ambient light colours working? I've just received the beta invite so will give it a good this afternoon.

So I had a play and ended up turning all the ambient lights off and losing the option on the screen. Thanks to admac21 for sharing the info above I've managed to get them back on but couldn't get any additional colours to register.

Do I need to do some kind of reset of the system maybe?

Hi new here and have a 3door 18 plate Leon FR. Have bought the carista and enabled the one click mirror and needle sweep. Really wanted the park pilot but can’t see an option for that had any one managed it ? And also can’t get the beep when unlocking and locking ?

For the beep from what I remember you have to enable it in carista and the option for to turn it on and off in the infotainment system. And then tick the box on the infotainment screen after.

Forget that got it working just need to get the park pilot working now
