CD changer in Mk4 Ibiza glove box

This is how I did mine.
I'm not responsible if you wreck the car you are working on!

I've fitted my VAG CD changer in my glove box and thought this might help if you're doing something similar.
The cable I used is part number 1M2 971 735. About £21.00 from a dealer.

This is the panel in the back of the glove box you need to remove.
    DO NOT PUSH IT OUT!
Use a sharp knife to cut the panel out

    Panel removed.

    Pull out the head unit.

I used these from Halfords. £3.99! :coolthumb

    *************************************************************

Feed the changer cable through the hole at the back & slide the changer into place.
Connect the leads up (only go one way :D ) and route the head unit end of the cable through to the back of the head unit.
Push the connection into the back of the head unit

    *************************************************************

    Before inserting the changer connection.

    After inserting the changer connection.

    *************************************************************

Push the head unit back into place.

    *************************************************************

    Changer in place.

    Hope this helps someone.

    Guy.
