There are 2 bugs on the back of it, inside of boot lid and you take them out and use a screwdriver from one end to push it out. Thats how I can describe it and saw it once in an etka/elsawin diagram on here. Will try to find the thread for you
If one or 2 leds stop and then start again on their own it will be to do with a dry solder joint. This can be repaired very easy by anyone with very basic soldering equipment/skills.
If all of the leds are not working it could be a dry solder joint on the main input. Assuming the wiring is good and the earth is good. A test meter will confirm this.
