My car failed it's MOT yesterday for having a loose cv joint and an advisory for gear oil leaking.
Who ever has done the CV joint, hasn't fully tightened up the bolts. They were all loose. One was missing, the washer/shim has been spinning around and acting like a cutting disc. Sliced through the side of the gearbox.
