I'm trading in my 2014 Leon next month and I wondered what is the best way to clear my digital footprint (Bluetooth pairings, telephone contacts, navigation destinations etc). Will a factory reset blitz all of these sort of things?

I would have thought so. Also, I don't know about on the MK3... but on the MK2 there's an option to remove your satnav history as well. I'd make sure to do that otherwise someone can see all the places you've been, etc.

In the infotainment unit there will be an option to clear contacts, paired phone etc, I did it when I got the car as the previous owner had left his on it.
