Clicking Glove Box

I'm new to this forum, as i have recently bought Toledo 2.0TDI Sport (55plate).

I have couple of issues, if anyone can help.

Firstly there appears to be a clicking/ticking noise from the glove box, with the ignition on, and aircon/stereo switched off. Has anyone else experienced this? I've heard these cars have a chilling device for the glove box. Could it be this?

Secondly the cruise control works, however the dash light doesn't. Could this just be a bulb? Does the dash have to come out to fix this problem?

Hi

Not sure about the glove box, but unless your car has the bluetooth option, the cruise light does not come on at all...even though the light is there. Don't know why...

Nice car though. I have the 1.9pd and love it...most of the time! :D

Cheers at least that one thing off my mind.

I must admit its a great car, but it does have a number of little niggles. In my other post i've gota dash rattle linked with the clutch:think:

Any ideas?

Yes I get a ticking noise from the dashboard, usually just after starting up. Pressing the Off button on the climate control stops it immediately. Pressing Auto again usually brings it back in without the ticking.
