Hi everyone. I recently started to hear a clicking noise every time i depress my clutch pedal. The noise definitely comes from the footwell area and not from the transmission. I ducked down under the footwell to see the pedal and saw a cylinder-piston-axle kinda thing attached to the clutch pedal. Could this axle thing cause the noise because it needs lubrication? The noise started when the weather got cold here in Greece. Sometimes it goes away and you cant hear it. I sprayed the axle thing with a silicone spray, the noise went away for two days but came back. Did the pedal brake somewhere or the master cylinder is failing any seals? Didn't notice any change on the pedal feel or the shifting and my fluid is right where its supposed to be just the clicking noise and its pissing me off, any ideas?

The piston thing is called a clutch cylinder, the one above the clutch pedal is the slave master cylinder.
It could possibly be clicking/squeaking over time, also they are notorious for leaks/failures.
Check for cracks or anything and stay alert for brake fluid leak to the footwell.
I believe the cold weather is contributing for the clicking

Didn't see no crqcks or leaks, the brake fluid is on spot, sprayed the slave cylinder with some silicone spray and the noise went away, probably a dry seal or something everything finw now
