hi guys, thanks for the advice/replies - however i forgot to mention that this has only happened once on saturday morning and that the car is two weeks old today. The flashing only lasted about 5 seconds and cooling/ heating are working fine - so it all seems abit of mystery to me. cannot find any mention of it in the manual either ????

Mine does it i think it is has something to do with the temp setting maybe to high or to low for the cars engine to take as it would be cold on start up. i dont think its a fault m8

I think the display flashing like that means that the ECU detected that the refrigeration gas pressure is low. On such a new car I would suggest that it was not gassed correctly in the factory or that you have a slight leak, this leak could be from a stone chip in one of the aluminum AC pipes at the front of the car.

hi guys - just thought i would clear this one up ? The flashing only occurred once on a cold morning and has not happened since - my guess is that the temp was not at a level that the climate could output as it was not warm enough. I think i mentioned in my previous thread that it happened upon turning on the ignition and went off after about 5-10 secs. Am still monitoring but like i say hasnt happened since ??
