clock , trip metre reset

4 time now when i,ve got into the car the clock had reset to 00.00 and also the trip metre , once was when we had been away for 10 days and park,t at the airport , 2 other times was just over night this last time went to work in the morning , clock was showing right time and the trip metre was at 55 mile after a trip out. got into car after my shift at work (12hrs ) and the clock was at 00.00 and same for the trip metre . any one else had this happen ?

My current one has Long term, since refuel and since reset options.

Many cars have a Trip A/1 & Trip B/2.

Older VW group cars I have driven auto reset the daily one (Trip B) 2 hours after the engine is switched off .

You may just have the daily trip displayed rather than the long term one.

Don't know this problem... Never heard about it! Maybe you use the wrong setting indeed. You have to settings. Or did you mean the day trip counter in the right down corner? The one you can reset with the button in the middle of the screen?

Everytime I've had a clock that kept resetting the time to midnight, the batteries given out within a couple of weeks.
