crossflow head ???

ive been doing some research, most stuff ive found is on US forums.
from what i can gather, fitting a crossflow head along with my exhaust system & air fillter should see a significant gain in power from my 2.0 8v AGG. has anyone on here fitted one and was the gain worth the money? ive found a few heads rangeing from £120-£300, if i did fit one id get it ported and polished while it was off. i would like to add a cam and manifold but only when i can afford, the only reason im looking at this is because it looks like the biggest gain for my money,

any help or advice guys

what heads have you been loking at?

iv had a quick look in to this but them yanks have diffrent engines/codes and the only thing i could think of was that the golf mk4 has cross flow but could that how much work is involved?

You don't get much gain mate, i've seen one roll 130bhp :-/

It doesn't make much difference until you've got a cam & other mods to go with it

Crossflow head is from the MK4 golf gti and as Ed's put its gonna make sweet FA difference unless you do other major work
