or do you need a loom from seat any one got a pic of one or can tell me where they all go?

hmmm mine was installed when i bought the car but as the ecu was changed due to water damage the wires were no longer connected to the ecu. I just assumed they came direct from the stalk, but cant be 100% certain. What wires are coming from your stalk mate?

thats all i have left to do as well. Got a cheap cable of ebay but the vag-com software on the laptop does not recognise it. Thinkin bout investing in a genuine cable as i really want to get this working.

yea activated it in vagcom got the g in the component field maybe one of my ecu connections just isnt making a good connection

if the wiring just goes straight to the ecu thats all it can be

really annoying!

Doesnt just go straight to the ecu. One wire needs power either from the brake pedal switch or pin 2 on the headlight switch. Of the 3 remaining wires, one is split into two to make the 4 needed for the ecu.

What component field should the 'G' be in Richy88? I have looked through all the items and cant see one called 'cruise control' or anything similar. Is it under a sub-category somewhere?

Right, i've had a look at how the cruise control has been wired into my car (i know this configuration has worked in the past as my mate had it working when he owned the car before me). The blue and red wires are extended straight to the ECU, the black wire is split into two wires and both of these run to the ECU also. The white wire comes out of the loom and connects to something under the steering wheel. On my car this just has a male bullet connector on the end and is not connected to anything, which is most likely the reason for the cruise control not working!!!!

Can someone who has cruise control fitted please have a look under the dash and see where this wire goes? Im guessing it goes to the brake or clutch switch, but cant see how it should be connected there

Any help would be massively appreciated, it feels like i am so close but yet so far!!!!
