Cupra 300 Resonator Delete Question

Hi All,

Just wanted to get your opinions on having a resonator delete done on my Cupra (Hatch).

I have spoken to Progressive Parts and the part for my car should be available to purchase this friday as mine is a 2018.
Since the car is on lease, the mod is easily reversible so that's good, however will this leave behind any trails when the car is being inspected for any modifications? I have been told there would be cutting involved in order to fit the new part.

I'd be surprised if it's detectable by the ECU, it's not like an O2 sensor that is wired to the system. And, as far as I know, no vehicle control system measures exhaust back pressure.
