So went out in a 570S today. Thought I would share some comparison points vs my 280, which is running 374hp.
- The McLaren is faster
- The McLaren is super orange - perfect colour for the car
- Ride quality of the Mc is like the Cupra in Cupra mode
- The feel between the Cupra and 570S is actually very similar - torque and power throughout the rev range etc. The McLaren obviously has more of the feel but it's not night and day, more early evening and day
- Exhaust obviously firm and proper on the Mc
- They sound similar from the inside so long as the soundaktor is on in the Cupra. Really feel odd even saying this.
Awesome machine for sure, but 15 years ago I went out in a F430 Spider and a comparative hot hatch would have been miles and miles apart. Now we are just miles apart
