Cupra buying advise?

Hi

Not posted for a while, trying to wish time away so i can save up enough to buy one of these babies!!! i guess standing at the window looking at a Cupra R doesnt help though

Anyway, im giving myself a budget of £7500 - £8000 to buy a 02/03 Cupra, and ive seen a few for around £7500 with about 65,000mls!! how are these cars with that sort of mileage, providing its perfect condition with FSH??? im just a little worried that its over 20,000 a year for the car............ normal i guess for a company car??

Also, if you didnt buy the Cupra, what would you get, as ive been offered a 99 Audi A4 1.8 T Sport Quattro for £7,000 with 50,000mls on the clock, FSH etc etc............ not so sure now?? anyone driven one of these??

I wouldn't worry about the high mileage. I bought mine with a fair number on the clock, and I've had little trouble since I bought it.

If they are company cars (ie lease cars) these can be a good buy. Leasing companies expect the vehicles to be maintained impecably, so as long as he history's there and the car looks ok they can be wise buy.

Don't automatically think that ex lease means high miles. I got an ex lease with only 18k on it after 3 years.
