Hi i have a 2009 leon cupra just had a stage 1 apr remap done about a month ago and I have just started to notice the clutch starting to slip! Is there any recommendations for a clutch to get and would i be able to get away without changing the flywheel? Also is the standard flywheel solid or dual mass? Thanks in advance!

Dual mass I'm afraid mate. Stock clutch should be able to handle stage one but uprated clutch would be 500 or 1k either flywheel.

Might just give the stock clutch another go only had the car since november so not sure if the person before killed it or if its just because of the remap.

If you are going to change to an uprated clutch I'd highly recommend a helix setup with LUK dual mass fly.

Have that in mine and it's brilliant much better feel than a stock clutch and can take a lot of hammer.

Personally I wouldn't change just the clutch plate when you have the perfect opportunity to do it whilst it's in bits.

Get the clutch plate and cover, new LUK fly wheel,LUK release bearing and new fly wheel bolts.

For that setup you are looking at around £750 delivered from AKS Tuning speak to Alex : )

Cheers for the reply I forgot all about this. Not got a clutch yet just driving about with the car on the standard map. Was looking on the AKS Tuning website and they dont seem to have any clutch kits on it will they have them in stock anyway? Better phoning them?

I've got the exact same setup - Helix with LUK dual mass. Pedal is a bit firmer but overall feels much better.
While the box is off, I'd recommend changing the dual mass at the same time. Worth it in the long run.

I got the clutch and associated bits from Awesome GTI but sourced my own flywheel/bolts which they fitted at the same time. Came to about £1000 in total.
