Cupra passenger seat back not locking

Posting on behalf of my brother who owns my old 3-door 1.4

Back when I owned the car, I fitted Cupra half leather in it. The passenger seat no longer locks back into place when you let someone in the back of the car, the little handle on the side seems to get stuck in the up position. Anyone had this problem?

Also, when he unlocks the car via the fob, the passenger door and the boot unlock, but his drivers door doesn't. He has to put the key in the lock and turn it. Anyone have any ideas?

Seems as the wire in the seat is getting stuck or on the way out ignore me pm miss read it lol

Check that the plastic lever is properly on,and the plastic casing that goes over the metal lever is not split.
Should just pull off for you too check!
Mine had split around the bottom of the plastic casing and i had the same problems
About £8 from seres on here iirc
