Cupra R / R ST Air Intake Trims

Had a look around on the web and found lots of splitter kits and wide body kits etc.

Does anyone know where I could find the trim that goes around wehre the fog lights are on the Cupra R or the R ST?

I like the gloss black bit, not the copper bit. I am considering removing the fog light completely when the car arrives because I've had cars with fog lights before and never needed to use them. I wonder if this is something you can order seperately and just fit to the existing bumper?

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Images attached of what I am talking about.

To me, the trim on the Cupra R ST looks like an inster that replaces the whole section where the fog light is and sits in the existing bumper without changing much else.

Exactly like that, but I can see you aren't sharing your secrets :(

I would have though that the bumper on the ST and the 5 Door Hatch are the same? Just a case of getting the part number from seat and ordering it through my mate at trade prices...
Cupra R,Cupra R ST, 300/290 5 door and 300 ST all have the exact same basic bumper. Just with different bits attached.

They were really 'hard' to get, and I did have the part number somewhere, but finding it really 'hard' to find it ;)

I managed to find out all Leon fog light trims start with the part number 5f0853665 and finish with a letter to determine the design. I was bored on the bus and A to D looks like MK3 and G to L MK3.5. So going on this then it will no doubt be one from 5f0853665 m to z. If you know anyone who has access to the parts system it wouldn't take long to check as there are only 14 possible options, 16 if you try e and f also.

If only it was that simple ;) but its 'hard'er than that.

Can't you help with the part number? You have them fitted as standard to your car.

They are fitted but I’m not taking them off my car to retrieve the part number so that others can make ‘R’ replicas. It’s a full front bumper off job to get them on and off.

If you phone someone like TPS or any SEAT dealership, you should be able to get them ordered as they are technically no longer a limited edition part as the ST R is not a limited run worldwide (despite only a limited number coming to the UK). I think they’re like £140 for a set iirc.

Haha, I wasn't expecting you to take them off, I thought you may have had a parts diagram for your car. I was just being cheeky anyway on the off chance you knew it.

ITs not to make an R replica. I personally think the Cupra looks a bit bland as stock, hence why I am putting skirts, splitter etc on the car. Subtle things that should really come standard.

I have the part number now anyway. They weren't lying when they said it was hard. But... a quick google of an R ST and find a picture with the reg in.

£37.00

Sorry to say that's the price for the standard plastic Cupra intakes. They should retail at around £150.00, I got mine with a 10% discount, so that's based on me working what I paid back up to the RRP.

If you are using TPS, be careful. I know of someone (not me) who ordered a Carbon Fibre R spoiler using an R chassis number plate/chassis number. They sent him the same spoiler everyone else has. He should of realised when the price was like £300 not £700.
