cupra tdi coil light??

Hey, i know that you have to wait for the coils on the dash to go out before you start the engine when its cold. but does anyone know what it means when it starts flashing at you whilst your driving down the road?? mine started doing it last night.

obviously i took it straight home n thought of you guys n gals.

so does anyone know what this could mean?

says in the manual take it too a technition asap. but it being a sunday i dont think thats going to happen. it'll just have to sit there on the drive untill monday.

does the engine run ok? also do your brake lights stay on or don't work? as it could be a brake light switch faulty.

yeah engines fine as far as im awear. nothings changed with the car except the coil light keeps flashing now and wont stop.

that sounds more like a glow plug problem now, should be easy to diagnose what part is faulty if it is that.

ok cheers. i'll just ahve to take it to my local garage and see what it says when hucked up to the computer.
