Custom Interior LED footwell lights

hi guys, just thought id share this as im not sure if anyone else on here has done this...
basically I bought a 5m roll of flexible LED light strip in red from ebay for 8.50 which I thought was a bargain! wide range of colours but I decided to go red to match my car. I fitted a wire from under the bonnet linked to my side lights through my wing and into my door all nice and neat, put a strip in the driver and passenger footwells and then linked a wire to go under the side door panel and under the back seats, used the adhesive side of the led strip to stick to a metal frame under the seats. all in all I am very impressed with the results, looks really nice. ill put up a guide if anyone wants to know how I done it, just let me know. anyway here are some pictures! hope u like it

Has anyone fitted the lights and wired to the interior light? How easy is it to do?

I would have thought its pretty easy, just run the cables up the pillars and connect them to the power feed for the interior light

I did, they fade on with the interior light. And powered by the reading light switches if you want them permanently on.

Paulyb92 did you leave your map lights standard or white leds or red leds? cant see on the pictures. and have you got a guide up yet I cant find one from you.

I have done this as well except i used another power supply and also installed a switch. if any one is interest i can put in a guied.

also installed a light above the cup holder/under the heating controls and can put a link in for that as well if you wish and i am currently doing a set of lights to come on off when i open/close and unlock the doors. so i can add that as well.
