hello

thought I would make a thread up about this as had a few PMs and comments on whats involved to make this kit pretty straight forward.

I made this induction kit up for less than 80gbp and I have owned the ITG induction kit(300gbp) just paying for the name imo.. and this does and feels like the exact same but shall see when on the dyno

sounds great and goes great.... lovley turbo sounds

fitment and position is spot on imo I wanted to use the OEM breather pipe system so I used the silicone T join you can get a breather filter and put it there instead but this looks more OEM to me.

MOD might want to sticky this??

anyways I used 70mm of everything I used and it looks like this :)

here is the links for what you need....

Is there much of a performance increase?

with any induction kit not sure I think you feel it is making it faster as its the sound that changs and it sounds great... but sure it does when on the dyno and getting mapped will make it crisp.

the stock box is poor and restrictive imo

Could this be fitted to a 2.0tdi? I've just bought one and maybe looking at putting one on?

I'm new to modifying cars In any way haha

So have you removed the pipe for the cold air and have the pipecross resting so it still has the cool air?

Did you dyno it and noticed a difference?

Anywhere we can get same pipes in different colour? wanting to dress my bay up

And final question (sorry for so many) does it matter which size you go for as long as it fits the 70mm, i.e 55-70 60-80?

I'll stop now :clown:

Cheers

Where's the battery on your car troupy? I have the 1.4 turbo act, is yours the twin charged?

Probably won't work on mine then. Mines only the turbo with the battery in the engine bay

just ordered all the parts from this, some have changed as I want them before saturday so had to shop around for faster delivery even for an extra £2-3.

Got a 63 plate cupra so looking forward to hearing the difference this will make

Yes, just use a straight pipe and a pipercross c0177 foam filter.
You can keep the front part of the stock induction too.

Here I've changed the front part with a custom carbon tunnel and heat shield but you get the picture:
