cv boot question

yes is the answer to your question.
without looking id say you have to split balljoint possible undo track rod end to get enough movement and undo hubnut.
then you got to get to the clip in the cv joint not sure what type it would be.
clean out cv joint re pack with grease fit new cv boot and reverse process.
forgot to mention you have to hold the drive shaft in the gearbox otherwise it can be a right pain.

its quite a bitish job, i've done it.
I used a cone with expandable CV boot to save taking the CV joint off the driveshaft, as this can be quite tricky sometimes and I needed it done ASAP for the MOT.
I'd rather get the garage to do it next time, even thought I hate taking it there.
Oh, and the universal streching CV boots suck.

cheers the garge can only do it middle of next week and i can not drive it because all the grase has come out
